Shopmobility provides independence, access and  equality for disabled, older people, and others whose  mobility is temporarily or permanently limited by  disability, ill health or injury.

The Shopmobility Service offers people with limited mobility an opportunity to increase their independence and gain access to shops, services and other everyday activities across Inverclyde including the Oak Mall, Waterfront, Esplanade and other walkways.

For an annual membership fee of £40.00, or visitors fee for one off usage we provide a range of mobility vehicles and equipment including:

• electric scooters

• powered and manual wheelchairs

• wheeled walking aids

Some equipment is also available for long term hire.

The equipment is easy to use, and full training is given to enhance confidence and ensure their safety.

As part of our continued commitment to developing the service to suit the needs of people who use it,  we trialled extending opening hours to include availability on Saturdays and due to its success full day Saturday is now part of our core opening hours.

We provide designated parking spaces to the rear of the unit.

If you pre-book the service after your initial registration we will meet you at your Shopmobility parking space.
