Candlelight Vigil

Scottish Families Affected by Alcohol and Drugs and Teen Challenge will be putting on their annual Candlelight Vigil to remember those we have lost to addiction This will be held on Sunday 1st September at 8pm in Clyde Square.

August 31st is International Overdose Awareness Day and this follows the annual announcement of the drug related deaths.

For 3 years we have held a candlelit vigil as close to this date as possible in memory of the lives lost in Inverclyde. Our aim is to show families and loved ones that these lives matter and they are not just a statistic but to also let them and anyone who may be still battling addiction or who have family/friends who are struggling, know about the amazing work Scottish Families and Teen Challenge Strathclyde do. We ask that if you have lost a friend or family member to come along and join us as we remember them. Candles will be provided
