Dementia Awareness Week 2022

Monday 30th May 2022 marks the start of Dementia Awareness Week 2022!

we are delighted to be holding a number of information stalls throughout Inverclyde, raising awareness of the Dementia Friendly Inverclyde project to challenge stigma and forge greater connections. A dementia friendly Inverclyde is where the whole community are committed to working together and helping people living with dementia remain a part of their community, where they feel included and involved, and have choice and control in their daily lives.

Dementia is not just about the individual, it's also about the community and its' response to dementia. Inverclyde prides itself in being a community that cares - community involvement and support is crucial to the involvement and inclusion of people living with dementia and unpaid carers to be part of their own community.

If you'd like to get involved in the Dementia Friendly Inverclyde project, find out more or simply have a chat to get to know us better, please stop by one of our stalls next week or get in touch on 01475 728628 or be emailing us using our CONTACT FORM.
