Connector Team gains national recognition!

Our Social Prescribing Community Connector team are delighted to have been highly commended as Social Prescribing Partnership of the year, at the recent National Association of Link Workers awards held in London.

Our Social Prescribing Co- Ordinator Sean Macfarlane added;

“This is a huge team achievement and thoroughly deserved, this is national recognition for the wonderful work that goes on within Your Voice SPRING and Community Connector Social Prescribing projects. Our team really go the extra mile to attend to people within Inverclyde, to connect them to resources within their community to improve their health and well-being, and we know people thrive when they are attended to!”

We have built great relationships with a variety of local community assets and organisations, which is fundamental in our model of Social Prescribing.

The team is made up of Amanda McEwan, Kevin Begley, Gaynor Lochhead, Jo Adams, Rosalind Jackson, Caroline Wengel.
