It will also help local people find out more about the New Scot community, as we will be encouraging conversations and storytelling. It will be a whistlestop tour, stopping at various places of historic interest with experts on hand at to tell us more about local landmarks, giving everyone an opportunity to take photos and ask questions.
After the event, we hope that attendees will feel confident and motivated to explore their locality. We’ll be providing handouts of ‘Short Circuit Walks’ and the ‘Heritage Coastal Trail’ to help them select where they want to visit next.
