Tea in the Park 2023
We had a fantastic time at #TeainthePark2023! Thanks so much to everyone who attended and made it possible! There were over 400 people who attended by our estimations!

Macmillan Improving the Cancer Journey Launch 30th August 2023
A NEW £320,000 service is set to offer a lifeline to the five hundred people diagnosed with cancer in Inverclyde every year. The Macmillan Cancer Support project run by Your Voice will give the 3,000 people currently living with cancer in the area a chance to access vital support.

RECOVERY ROCKS!
Branchton Recovery Café is now open! 1.30pm - 3.30pm every Wednesday at 78 Branchton Rd
We are absolutely delighted to open another Recovery Café in Inverclyde, to reach as many people as possible who may be interested in Recovery, find out more about Your Voice and our Recovery Community, or just want to socialise and enjoy some music!

We are working in Partnership with Inverclyde HSCP and CVS Inverclyde to help you get the support and advice you need, by raising awareness about local organisations and the online resource www.inverclydelife.com

Do you have an interest in health and social care services? Would you like to make a difference to local people’s health & wellbeing? If so, we would love to hear from you!
Come along on Tuesday 18th July, 10am - 12pm at 12 Clyde Square, Greenock
We are working with Inverclyde Health & Social Care Partnership in influencing the long-term planning of local services.

Green Connections Phase 3
We previously asked members of the public within Inverclyde about walking, wheeling and cycling routes between Greenock Central and Lady Octavia Sports Centre. The feedback from this survey was analysed by Inverclyde Council, Sustrans and Atkins to decide upon a final route plan.

Refugee Week 2023
The 19th - 25th June was the 25th anniversary of #RefugeeWeek! Gaynor at Your Voice is heavily involved with the New Scots and helped make this the best Refugee Week yet!

Dementia Awareness Week - 2023
This week, we’re celebrating ‘Dementia Awareness Week’; a chance to get people talking about dementia in order to challenge stigma, create connections and raise awareness about the support available in our community. It all starts with ‘hello’!

Chronic Pain Workshops
Join Aniela for a Chronic Pain Workshop on the 8th June, 11am - 12pm.
Explore some gentle movement and breathing exercises used to help manage pain and space will be made to share experiences through discussion.

Thank you for coming to our Mental Health Week!
Thank you to everyone who got involved with us this #mentalhealthawarenessweek we couldn't have done it without you! It has been brilliant and really helped raise awareness about anxiety as well as how you can help improve your mental wellbeing!

Help Manage Anxiety!
The Mental Health Awareness Week's theme for 2023 is 'anxiety'. There are many events, apps, websites, helplines and resources which can help your anxiety.

Demystifying Death Week
Demystifying Death Week returns in 2023 (from the 1st to 14th of May) to shine a light on death, dying and bereavement in Scotland. Across the country many events will be taking place to get people talking to each other and sharing experiences.

Lorna’s Fitness Story
We love a fitness story, it’s what our Urban Fit sessions are all about! Building confidence and wellbeing. Lorna is one of our regulars at Urban Fit and has seen great progress over the last 3 months.

Inverclyde Promise Newsletter March 2023
As a partnership we value and respect the lived experiences of the children and young people we work alongside and are eager to involve young people much earlier in decision making processes through a participative approach, developing informed insights, ideas, recommendations and solutions for corporate priorities, policy and practice.

Women’s Self Defence Classes
We are partnering with the WOMANity Project to run Women’s Self Defence classes at various locations around Greenock!
Learn some self defence techniques, have fun, build your confidence and feel safe!

Walking, Wheeling and Cycling!
We are working with Inverclyde Council, Sustainable Transport Scotland (Sustrans) and Atkins to learn more about the local needs and opinions regarding green transport connections. It is our aim to connect The Greenock Cut with Greenock Town Centre in the safest and easiest way possible for local residents.

Social Prescribing Day!
Come along to the Social Prescribing Day on the 9th of March 2023! We have live entertainment, Mindfulness and Stretch & Breathe sessions, free food and refreshments.

Wheeling, Walking and Cycling Event - 4th March 2023
Have some ideas about local cycling and pedestrian paths, in and around Greenock?
We are working closely with Inverclyde Council and Sustrans to gather public feedback about local Walking, Wheeling and Cycling routes connecting Greenock Town Centre with Lady Octavia Sports Centre and The Greenock Cut.

Carer’s Rights Day
This Carers Rights Day we want everyone to "know their role" when it comes to involving and supporting unpaid carers.
